Healthy and Delicious Taco Salad Recipe

With Back To School just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about fun ways to get your family back to the dinner table. Food is a fantastic way to bring loved ones together and get back into the routine of life. Did know that our sense of smell is our most powerful sense of all? The smell of a delicious meal can make even the pickiest eaters come running. Give it a try by spicing up your weekly dinner menu with a healthy and delicious Taco Salad. Make it a “Taco Tuesday” night and have fun with it. I mean, who doesn’t love Mexican food?

southwest yogurt dressing

*Recommend using Siggi’s Plain 0% Fat Yogurt for the dressing

Once you have prepared the above items, preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spread corn tortilla chips* evenly on a baking sheet and top with shredded organic cheddar cheese. Place in oven for 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with taco salad and enjoy!

*Always look at the ingredients when buying corn tortilla chips. If not buying organic, always look for chips that are made from Non-GMO free corn and only list oil, and salt as the remaining ingredients. Preferably you would want to choose a brand that uses expeller pressed or organic oils.
